Germany has seen a second consecutive week of price increases for half-carcass pork, rising by 5 cents to EUR 2.00 per kilogram. This equates to a current price of EUR 9.34/kg, with domestic purchases starting the week at PLN 9.41/kg for fattening pigs in class E and PLN 7.26/kg for live pigs. The recent price hike is expected to impact the local market, with analysts considering whether these increases will align with the rising costs of inputs to ensure profitable production.
