Hasan Yıldız, General Manager of Antalya Cotton and Citrus Agricultural Sales Cooperatives Union (ANTBİRLİK), told Anadolu Agency (AA) that this year the harvest period started in the second week of September and will continue until the end of October. Stating that the production area has increased compared to the previous year, Yıldız said, "Last year, we purchased approximately 14 thousand tons of unseed cotton, and this year's expectation is at least 20 thousand tons.
