In March, the World Apple and Pear Association highlighted a decrease in European apple stocks, totaling 2,570,837 tons, the lowest in four years and down by 56,723 tons from the previous year. Poland, with a significant reduction of 59,000 tons from the previous year and 206,000 tons from February 2024, had 706,000 tons, making it the second-largest holder after Italy, which led with 840,853 tons. France followed with 426,144 tons. In Poland, the most stored apple varieties were Golden Delicious, Red Jonaprince, and Idared, indicating a diverse storage portfolio.
