Applications are being accepted under the scheme to support fruit growers – budget 10 million leva.

From November 3 to November 25, farmers can apply for support under the scheme "Aid for compensating the costs of farmers related to the implementation of measures under the National Program for the Control of Pests on Permanent Crops during the Winter Period." The budget for 2025 is 10 million leva. The aid is provided in two stages – spring and autumn. The funds provided now for the second stage cover part of the costs incurred by fruit growers for plant protection products used in autumn. These are applied during the period of mass leaf fall and leaf decay. Farmers receive up to 140 leva per hectare with VAT for purchased pest control products. For the spring stage, nearly 6.5 million leva were paid in May and June 2025.
