Aquaculture enterprises in Ukraine produced 1,000 tons of fish and other aquatic biological products in six months

The total volume of fish and other aquatic biological resources caught by enterprises of the fishing industry of Ukraine for 6 months of 2021 amounted to more than 30.5 thousand tons. This is stated in the message of the State Agency for Land Reclamation and Fisheries of Ukraine. Thus, the industrial catch of fish and other aquatic biological resources amounted to 5.86 thousand tons. In particular, 1.1 thousand tons were produced in the Sea of Azov (+ 26% compared to January-June 2020), in the river. Danube - 434 tons (+ 72%), Dnieper-Bug estuary system - 309 tons (+ 14%) Black sea estuaries - 24 tons (+ 4%). In addition, industrial fishermen caught 1.58 thousand tons of fish and other aquatic biological resources in the Black Sea, 518 tons - in the lower reaches of the river.
