Peru: Arequipa invested more than S/11 million in productive projects in Islay

With an investment of S/11,859,723.50, the Regional Agricultural Management of Arequipa delivered three irrigation infrastructure projects and one productive project to the producers of the province of Islay. Among the works delivered is the project “Improvement of the water service of the irrigation system of laterals 20-A, 21-A, 22-A, 23 and 27, of the Mollendo user commission, Mollendo district”, valued at S/3,575,239, which benefits 257.70 hectares of crops. The project “Improvement of the water service of the Granados irrigation system, in the Punta de Bombón district” was also completed, with an investment of S/2,057,321, which covers 2,301.43 hectares. The project “Improvement of the water service of the lateral irrigation system 22, Punta de Bombón district”, with a value of S/394,100.50, guarantees irrigation for 102 hectares.
