Soybean meal exports also declined, to 1.95-2 million tons, down from 2.05 million tons the previous month and 2.22 million tons in January 2025. Analysts predict Argentina’s position in the global sunflower oil market will further strengthen in the coming months. Sunflower processing in the country traditionally increases in February-March, and new processing plants are scheduled to begin operations in April 2026, enabling peak production and exports.
