Argentina has seen a surge in pork production, with a 27.8% increase in exports reaching 22,800 tons valued at US$4.45 million, a 55.6% increase from the first half of 2020. The country's total pork production in 2020 was 655,304 tons, and domestic consumption has already hit 338.5 thousand tons in the first half of 2021, a 9.4% increase from the previous year.
