In June, Argentina exported 57,100 tons of chilled and frozen beef, generating US$211 million, with China being the primary destination (76.3% of the volume). The United States became the second-largest market, surpassing the European Union. In the first half of 2024, beef exports increased by 13.1% in volume to 371,800 tons compared to the same period in 2023, with a slight 0.6% rise in value. Over the past year, total beef exports reached 726,200 tons, worth approximately US$2,785 million. Additionally, June saw 9,100 tons of beef offal and preparations shipped, valued at US$14.6 million.
