Argentina is a relevant player on the global stage: it ranks 5th as a producer and is the 4th largest exporter of honey in the world, recognized for its quality and traceability system that provides certainty of origin and purity to the world. The Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Ministry of Economy of the Nation reports that, during the first eight months of 2025, exports of the beekeeping complex (includes honey, wax, pollen, live material) had the highest export volume of the last seven years, reaching 60,622 tons, with an increase of nearly 5% compared to the same period of 2024, according to data from INDEC. Among the marketed products, the most significant growth was observed in Beeswax, with 52.9%, followed by bees (live material), with 21%.
