In the first ten months of 2020, Argentina experienced a 6% increase in fresh fruit exports compared to the same period in 2019, totaling 797,220.7 tons, as reported by Senasa and Elonce. The main exports included pears, fresh lemons, apples, oranges, and mandarins, with the European Union, the Russian Federation, and the United States being the primary destinations. This growth is credited to the collaboration between producers and Senasa, which adapted its certification processes to accommodate the challenges of the pandemic.
