In December 2022, Armenia imported 27,569 tons of wheat and meslin, a decrease from 36,602 tons in the same period in 2021, and exported no wheat or meslin. The total wheat and meslin imported and exported from January to December 2022 was 310,118 tons, a decrease from 295,898 tons in 2021. Additionally, in December 2022, Armenia imported 4,723 tons of barley, an increase from 2,100 tons in the same period in 2021, and exported no barley. The total barley imported and exported from January to December 2022 was 54,490 tons, an increase from 33,707 tons in 2021.
