The article highlights the challenges faced by aronia growers in Poland due to low purchase prices and unsatisfactory yields this season. Despite high prices of other fruits like black currants and raspberries, aronia has not been sought after as a substitute. The purchase prices for aronia for processing varied from 0.80 to 1.00 PLN / kg for fruit for juices and 1.00-1.20 PLN / kg for freezing. The article notes that due to unfavorable weather conditions, some growers have given up harvesting, and those who harvested are struggling to sell as processors are not interested in buying. Consequently, purchases of aronia have been limited.
