ASAJA Castilla-La Mancha conveyed this Tuesday to the regional Administration the emergency situation that numerous farmers in the community are facing due to the impossibility of meeting two key administrative obligations on time: the communication of vineyard removal and the planting of the quota of woody plants in Special Protection Areas for Birds (ZEPA). The agrarian organization has made separate requests for extension to the Directorate General of Agriculture and Livestock and to the Ministry of Sustainable Development, respectively, arguing that the adverse weather conditions recorded during the current campaign and the lack of specialized means make it materially unfeasible to comply with the current schedules.
