South Korea: ASF confirmed in Yangju pig farm, temporary movement suspension issued in 7 cities and counties in Gyeonggi until the 18th

African swine fever (ASF) has broken out at a pig farm in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province. It has been about 40 days since it broke out in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province on November 3. According to the ASF Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters (Director Song Mi-ryeong, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs), a pig farm in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province was confirmed to have ASF on the 16th. This is the eleventh case this year, following Yeongdeok, Gyeongbuk Province on January 16, Paju, Gyeonggi Province on January 18, Cheorwon, Gangwon Province on May 21, Yeongcheon on June 15, Andong on July 2, Yecheon on July 7, Yeongcheon on August 12, Gimpo on August 30, Hwacheon on October 13, and Hongcheon on November 3.
