The National Beef Livestock Association (Assocon) supports and is part of the Working Group (GT) created to review the beef export contract to China. The proposal, presented at a meeting of the sectoral chamber of the beef production chain, of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa), on February 28, was accepted and will focus, in particular, on adjustments to the terms of the current health protocol. Export regulations gained prominence in recent days, when an isolated and atypical case of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) was registered in the interior of Pará.
