The National Meteorology and Hydrology Service of Peru (Senamhi) published the agroclimatic risk forecast for quinoa cultivation for the October–December 2025 quarter. In the central and southern highlands, it is expected that precipitation will vary between below and above average, while daytime and nighttime temperatures will remain between normal, below, and above levels depending on the area. Central Highlands Precipitation and temperatures would vary between normal and above normal in the central highlands during the months of October, November, and December 2025, except for November in the western central highlands, which could be below average for both climatic variables. Under these climatic conditions, quinoa cultivation in Ayacucho would be favored, both in early plantings and new plantings.
