August may set a record in beef exports

Brazilian exports of raw beef registered a strong advance in August 2025, according to a weekly analysis by the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea), released this Monday (25). Until the fourth week of the month, the country shipped 212.92 thousand tons of the product, with a daily average of 13.30 thousand tons. The result represents an increase of 34.66% compared to the same period in August 2024. According to Imea, considering the 21 business days of the month, the projection is that shipments will exceed 250 thousand tons, surpassing the volume exported in August of the previous year. “The pace of shipments indicates the possibility of a monthly record in beef exports,” the analysis pointed out.
