Average cassava prices rise in the 1st week of February

After four weeks of decline, the average price of cassava root increased in the first days of February in some of the regions monitored by Cepea. According to researchers at the Research Center, the rise is a reflection of the reduction in the supply of roots, due to both the retreat of producers, with limited profitability, and difficulties in harvesting, caused by localized rains.
