The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), through Agromercado, managed to generate sales commitments of over S/19 million for the next 12 months, benefiting avocado and alpaca fiber producers, thanks to the business meetings organized by the sector during the Expoagro 2025, which allowed direct articulation between agrarian organizations and demanding companies. The avocado chain concentrated the largest part of the commercial movement, with over S/12.6 million in purchase intentions and more than 120 formal meetings between associations from the south, hailing from Tacna, Moquegua, Cusco, and Arequipa, and leading companies in the sector. Among the main buyers were GPT Global Avocado, with estimated commitments of S/5 million; Incavo (S/2.5 million); Inca Select (S/1.5 million); Agrícola Kamuk (S/1 million); and Agrofruit Tech Perú (S/800 thousand).
