From January to September 2021, Azerbaijan experienced a 28.8% decrease in wheat imports and an 11.4% drop in their total value compared to the same period in 2020. Despite the decrease in cattle meat imports, there was a rise in poultry and vegetable imports, with a notable increase in the import of potatoes, vegetables, and fruits. The country also saw a rise in the export of fruits, potatoes, and canned food, but there was a decrease in the export of vegetable oils, wine, and tobacco. Overall, there were variations in the import and export volumes and values of various agricultural products.
