Ba Ria-Vung Tau province in Vietnam is expanding its cocoa plantations due to high market demand, both domestically and internationally. The province has over 614 hectares of cocoa plantations, with Chau Duc district having the largest area. The district plans to allocate 2.7 billion VND for seedlings, fertilizers, and agricultural materials to expand cocoa cultivation. The district is also seeking support from businesses to improve cocoa tree cultivation and productivity. Binon Cacao Joint Stock Company in Chau Duc district is manufacturing cocoa products and operates a cocoa park for visitors to learn about cocoa production and make their own chocolate. The company also exports its products to Japan, Korea, Malaysia, and the European market.
