Tainong No. 1 mangoes will officially begin harvesting on June 25 (with non-embryo fruits available from June 20), known for their high sweetness and low fiber content; Guifei mangoes follow, starting harvest on June 27 (non-embryo fruits on June 22), featuring vibrant color and sweet taste; Jinhuan mangoes will mature and enter the market on July 12 (non-embryo fruits on July 7), characterized by large size and full flesh; Red Ivory mangoes will be released on July 15, with unique shape and tender meat; Hot Agricultural No. 1 mangoes will be harvested on July 22; the fragrant and delicate Gui Hot 82 (Gui Seven) mangoes will begin harvest on July 21; Gui Hot No. 10 will be the latest, entering the market on August 20. Other varieties will follow similar early, mid, and late harvest schedules. It should be noted that these times primarily apply to the typical Right River Valley climate zone, with mountain areas on both sides potentially adjusting harvest times based on local mango production conditions.
Guangxi mango prices are influenced by multiple factors, including variety, quality, yield, and market supply and demand. Different varieties show significant price variations. Using Baise mangoes as an example, first-grade fruit guidance purchase prices are: Tainong No. 1 mangoes weighing ≥200g priced at 6-9 yuan/kg; Guifei mangoes weighing ≥320g at 5-7 yuan/kg; Jinhuan mangoes weighing ≥600g at 5-8 yuan/kg; Gui Hot 82 (Gui Seven) mangoes weighing ≥200g at a higher 9-13 yuan/kg.
