Brasília, 06/05/2025 - Banco do Brasil raised US$ 100 million in a two-year operation to finance sustainable agriculture. The fundraising result was obtained exclusively by Broadcast. The operation, called "Climate-Smart Agriculture", was contracted with the French bank Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking (Natixis CIB), which acted as a sustainable coordinator and counterpart.
"This treasury operation is the result of Banco do Brasil's effort to structure sustainable and innovative financial solutions," says the bank's Wholesale Business Vice President, Francisco Lassalvia, in a statement.
The resources obtained will be directed to finance the acquisition of agricultural products, with support for responsible production aligned with sustainability principles, states BB.
