Russia: Barley harvest in Kirov region exceeded 220 thousand tons

According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, as of September 23, agricultural organizations of the Kirov Region threshed 253.3 thousand hectares of grain and leguminous crops. This is 91% of the planned area. 570.7 thousand tons of grain were harvested with an average yield of 22.5 c/ha. In particular, 220.4 thousand tons of barley were obtained, it was harvested from 95.5 thousand hectares, the yield is 23.1 c/ha. Wheat threshing amounted to 123.5 thousand tons: crops were harvested from 68.9 thousand hectares with a yield of 22.3 c/ha. The gross yield of rye amounted to 108.6 thousand tons (45.1 thousand hectares, 24.1 c/ha), oats - 55.0 thousand tons (26.3 thousand hectares, 20.9 c/ha), leguminous crops - 31.8 thousand tons (17.2 thousand hectares, 18.5 c/ha). Kirov agricultural organizations are also harvesting potatoes and vegetables.
