According to preliminary estimates from Rosstat, in 2023 the barley harvest in Russia decreased and amounted to 21.2 million tons in weight after processing versus 23.4 million tons. The average yield also decreased: spring barley - from 27.8 to 25.6 centners per hectare, winter barley - from 47.7 to 42.7 centners per hectare.
