Advances in Brazilian barley production will be presented at the 35th National Barley Research Meeting, held on April 28 and 29, at Embrapa Wheat, in Passo Fundo, RS. The program will showcase the results of the 2024 and 2025 harvests, in addition to technical lectures and novelties in cultivars. The actors working with barley in Brazil have been holding periodic meetings for over 40 years, with the first Barley Research Meeting held in 1981. After the biennial periodicity was defined, with the event taking place in April, the Barley Research Meeting has brought together representatives from the scientific community, the market, and the industry involved with the crop from research, through cultivation, to the processing of grains.
