The agricultural exports of the republic have seen a significant increase of 2.5 times compared to the same period last year, totaling 147.46 thousand tons in the first quarter of 2023. The exports were made to several European and Central Asian countries, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belgium, Belarus, Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, the Netherlands, Latvia, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan. Wheat, flax, barley, and various flour products were the most exported goods. This increase is in line with the national project 'International Cooperation and Export', which aims to boost non-commodity, non-energy goods exports by at least 70% by 2030 compared to 2020.
