Brazil: The basic food basket in Cuiabá records a decline of 2.57% in the last week of March

The Basic Basket Weekly Bulletin, published by the Fecomércio-MT Research and Analysis Institute (IPF-MT), recorded a 2.57% decline in the average value of groceries in the last week of March. This is the most significant price variation recorded since the beginning of the year. The observed drop of R$20.15 is mainly linked to seven of the 13 items that make up the basket, with all showing a decrease. With an average price of R$762.66, the value of groceries was once again stable compared to the same week in 2023, when the verified value was R$762.18.
