By André Marinho and Altamiro Silva Junior São Paulo, 12/02/2026 - The Vice President of Agribusiness and Family Farming, Gilson Bittencourt, said that the renegotiation of the agribusiness credit portfolio, which totaled R$ 35.5 billion, sought out the solvent client, who had installments coming due and the capacity to pay, thus managing to extend the debt and maintain the relationship with the bank. "The renegotiation sought out rural producers with the capacity to pay," said the executive in the analysts' teleconference. "The longer term is a relief so that this producer can rebalance." The objective of the line was to stabilize the delinquency in agribusiness, which is still expected to affect the first quarter of 2025. The line was created in October 2025, through Provisional Measure 1.314, which expired this week, on the last day of February 10.
