Brasília and São Paulo, 11/13/2025 - The president of Banco do Brasil, Tarciana Medeiros, recently assessed that the non-payment by individuals in the bank's results tends to normalize in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Medeiros stated that, in addition to the influence of the agricultural sector on the third quarter's result, the period is also usually influenced by a seasonality of a slight increase.
"Except for the agricultural issue, which is very specific, it is indeed a punctual non-payment. In the months of November and December, we have the receipt of the 13th salary. So, we believe that this non-payment by individuals excluding the agricultural sector is already normalizing now in this last quarter," she said.
