Brazilian exports of beef reached a new record in September, according to the Agricultural Economic Bulletin released this Thursday (23) by the Department of Rural Economy (Deral), from the State Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply (Seab). According to data from Cepea, 348 thousand tons were exported in the month, the highest volume ever recorded for the period in the historical series of the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (Secex). The bulletin highlights that "in the year-to-date, exports are already more than 15% above the total recorded in 2024". The growth was mainly driven by demand from China and Hong Kong, which played a central role in the advance of external sales.
