During the 2022-2023 campaign period, beet farmers in Develi, who planted on 38 thousand decares of land across 24 villages in Tomarza, Yahyalı and Develi, produced approximately 255 thousand tons of sugar beet. They were entitled to a beet fee of 441 million TL, of which 206 million TL was previously received as cash-in-kind advances and assignments. The remaining 235 million TL has been deposited into the farmers' bank accounts.
