Belarus has imposed a ban on pork imports from five regions of Hungary due to the spread of African swine fever, as recognized by the World Organization for Animal Health. The ban includes the import of live pigs, certain circus animals, pork products, and other pig-related items from these regions, effective from January 27. The Department of Veterinary and Food Inspection in Belarus is advising for additional measures to safeguard Belarusian pig farms from the disease, as no vaccine is available yet.
