Belgians slaughter more than a million fewer pigs

The number of pigs slaughtered in Belgium was the last time at such a low level in 1990. Despite the malaise in the pig sector, the slaughters will yield a total of 930 million kilos of carcass weight in 2023. This is 58 percent of the total weight of slaughtered animals.
