According to him, the documents will be officially signed next week, consolidating commitments on trade, combating fentanyl, and technological cooperation. In an interview, Bessent confirmed that the U.S. will suspend for one year the restrictions of the "Entity List," a Department of Commerce mechanism that limits exports of American technology to foreign companies considered a risk to national security. The list, which has already included companies like Huawei, imposes special license requirements for the sale of chips, software, and advanced equipment.
