An interesting journey among religious monuments, naturalistic trekking paths, and the inevitable gastronomy, in areas that are very rich in these aspects. Slow tourism, more than a trend, this summer will probably be a necessity. With the oil crisis, one can despair, or try alternative solutions that can imagine a slightly safer and decidedly more sustainable future. For this reason, it is pleasing to know that in Italy we have a new path, established on the routes of merchants and pilgrims between southern Piedmont and Liguria, and dedicated to a spiritual figure, as often happens for these paths — think of the famous one of Santiago de Compostela — specifically to the figure of Mary Magdalene, a saint who usually appeals even to those who are not too involved in Catholic religion.
