In the second quarter of 2024, Peruvian blueberry exports saw a decline, with a 42% reduction in volume and a 25% decrease in value compared to the same period in the previous year. Despite a 30% increase in price, the total export value stood at $29.7 million. The majority of the exports, 84%, were fresh blueberries, generating $24.9 million in revenue. Frozen blueberries made up 14.7% of the exports. The United States was the primary market, accounting for 37.6% of the exports. Exportadora Frutícola del Sur S.A., Camposol S.A., and Aqu Anqa II S.A.C. were the leading exporters.
