Bolivia: Exporters report $80 million in losses after meat export ban

The National Chamber of Exporters of Bolivia (CANEB), through its general manager, Marcelo Olguín, reported that accumulated losses for the meat export sector have reached $80 million over the last three months, as a result of the government's ban on meat exports. "To date, losses of $80 million have been recorded out of a potential $320 million for this administration," Olguín stated, 91 days after the implementation of this economic policy.
