Bolivian beef exports reached 797 million dollars between 2021 and 2025. China has been the main destination for this meat, accounting for 74% of sales, reported the executive president of the National Customs, Karina Serrudo. In parallel, the institution incorporated the Export Food Safety Certificate for beef into the Single Window for Foreign Trade (VUCE), expanding the digital procedures available for international trade. According to Serrudo, the sector has registered "impressive" growth in the last five years. External sales rose from 11 million dollars in 2021 to 186 million in 2022, 199 million in 2023, and 247 million in 2024. Currently, Bolivia exports beef to Russia, Peru, Ecuador, Vietnam, and in September, it finalized the opening of Egypt, in addition to managing entry into Chile.
