Prices of chicken meat have been on a decline after peaking last year, with the US experiencing a more significant drop compared to Brazil. Despite a slight reversal in February, the average price of US chicken meat has decreased by almost 20%, while Brazil's loss has been lower at 14.8%. Throughout the past two years, the average price of Brazilian chicken meat has been around 45% higher than that of the US, primarily due to a more diversified mix in Brazil. However, this difference has grown significantly in recent months, reaching around 58.5% in favor of Brazil in the last five months.
