Brazilian pork exports (considering all products, including fresh, frozen, and processed) were record for the period. In total, 116.3 thousand tons were exported in January, a value 9.7% higher than the total exported in the same month last year, with 106 thousand tons. Export revenue reached US$ 270.2 million, a balance of 13.6% compared to the same period last year (and a record for the month of January), with US$ 238 million. The largest importer of Brazilian pork, the Philippines, was the destination for 37.4 thousand tons (+91%).
