Brazil's fresh beef exports have reached a record high both in volume and revenue, with a total of 270.3 thousand tons shipped in October, a 7.4% monthly increase and a 45.3% year-over-year increase from October 2023. The top importers of Brazilian beef were China, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Hong Kong, and Chile. The average export price was USD 4,660 thousand per ton, generating revenues of USD 1,259 million. In contrast, Australia's meat exports also saw a significant increase, with a cumulative total of 1,097 million tons in the first 10 months of the year, a 24% increase compared to the same period last year. The United States was the largest importer of Australian meat, accounting for 34% of the total in October.
