Brazil hopes to export Hass avocado to Chile and Japan in 2025

The Agricultural Defense Coordinator (CDA) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Supply (SAA), through its Phytosanitary Defense Center (CDSV), reported that it will apply measures to guarantee the export of Hass avocado to Chile and Japan starting in 2025. The decision comes after the agreements reached between the National Phytosanitary Protection Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) and the respective agencies of the importing countries.
