Since January 2019, over 700 agricultural establishments in Brazil have been approved to export their products to 24 countries, including Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines. The country has opened 65 markets for agricultural products this year, with significant growth in exports to Vietnam and South Korea, reaching record levels in April, exceeding $10 billion for the first time. The agricultural sector was the only one to show economic growth in the first quarter of 2020, with a 0.6% increase compared to the previous quarter and a 1.9% increase year-over-year.
