Brazil is the world leader in orange production, having grown 17.07 million tons in the previous year, followed by China and India as the second and third-largest producers, respectively. The United States and Mexico round out the top five. However, when it comes to orange exports, Spain, South Africa, and the United States are among the top ten, with the Netherlands being the largest importer of oranges, followed by France, Germany, and Russia. The top ten producers and the top ten importers of oranges, excluding the countries where the product is produced, were identified by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for the year 2019.
