The National Mango Board has announced that the Brazil 2021 mango season is projected to see a 15% increase from the previous year, with an estimated 13.5 million cases. The season is set to run from the end of July to the middle of December, with the main varieties being Tommy Atkins, Kent, Palmer, and Keitt. As of the week ending July 31, 2021, Mexico had shipped around 2.89 million boxes, bringing the season total to 61.59 million boxes, while figures for Haiti were not provided. The forecast for the number of boxes to be shipped from week 31 to week 38 is expected to be 2% higher than the previous year. The Mexican mango season is projected to see a 1% increase, reaching around 79 million boxes, while the Haitian season is expected to see an 11% increase, with projections of around 2.7 million boxes.
