The Brazilian government is pleased with Mexico's decision to allow the import of poultry and fish oil for animal feed from Brazil, potentially boosting bilateral trade. In 2023, Mexico imported over US$2.95 billion in agricultural products from Brazil, making it the tenth largest destination for Brazilian agricultural exports. This development is part of Brazil's successful strategy, with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs collaborating to expand international trade and opportunities for Brazilian agribusiness, as demonstrated by access to 41 markets in 24 countries since the beginning of the year.
