The Brazilian Embassy in Buenos Aires organized the 'Special Coffees from Brazil' event to promote the country's leading coffee product, highlighting its sustainability and environmental efforts. The event was supported by the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council (Cecafé) and the Brazilian Specialty Coffee Association (BSCA), and was attended by Argentine authorities and sector leaders. Cecafé's president, Márcio Ferreira, emphasized the diversity and environmental sustainability of Brazilian coffee production, and the social sustainability of production areas. The event also showcased Brazil's transparency in socio-environmental criteria through its public database, and Argentina's import of Brazilian coffee places it among the top 20 importers of the product in the year up to September 2024.
