In 2022, Brazil achieved a significant milestone in its beef exports, witnessing a 40.8% increase compared to the previous year, reaching 2.3 million tons with a value of US$ 7.9 billion. China continues to be the largest consumer of Brazilian beef, followed by the European Union, Philippines, and the United Arab Emirates. The success of Brazil's beef exports is largely due to the quality of the product, its competitive pricing, and the country's position as a key commercial partner. This growth is also attributed to Brazil's historical investment in technology, which has enhanced both productivity and product quality. Projections suggest that exports will surpass three million tons between 2025 and 2030, but the industry will need a 35% increase in production and a 45% increase in average productivity to meet demand.
